Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) Day 2019 - Ananthapuri Hospitals

Did you know that diarrhoeal disease is the second leading cause of death in children under five years old? Diarrhoea is caused by poor sanitation and hygiene and it can get serious and fatal due to dehydration. Good news is that it can be prevented by giving extra fluids at home or simply by having Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS) solution. 

ORS Day is celebrated on the 29th of July every year, to make people aware of the importance of ORS solution. Pre-packed ORS formula, enough to make a litre of the solution, is easily available in the markets in the form of sachets!
