Dr. S. Parameswaran is the Medical Director and Chief of the Department of Oncology, with over 34 years of distinguished experience in Radiation Oncology and Cancer Care. A highly respected and renowned oncologist, he has dedicated his career to comprehensive cancer treatment, academic excellence, and clinical research.
He graduated from Alleppey Medical College, University of Kerala, in 1974 and later completed his Diploma in Medical Radiotherapy (DMRT) from Madras University at CMC Hospital, Vellore. He obtained his MD in Radiotherapy from Madras Medical College in 1986. Further advancing his expertise internationally, he worked at Auckland Hospital, New Zealand, and earned the prestigious FRACR (Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Radiologists) in 1987.
Dr. Parameswaran has also undergone advanced training in cancer control programs and oncology at the University of California, San Francisco; Stanford Medical Centre (USA); and Royal Marsden Hospital (UK). Over the course of his career, he has treated thousands of cancer patients and played a pivotal role in shaping oncology education in India.
