He completed his MBBS and MS from JIPMER, Pondicherry, and further specialized with advanced GI Surgery, Minimal Access Surgery (MAS), and Bariatric training from AIMS Kochi and GEM Hospital & Research Centre, Coimbatore.

With rich academic and clinical experience, he has served as Assistant Professor of Surgery at AIMS Kochi and as Consultant Surgeon in MAS, Bariatric Surgery, and Surgical Gastroenterology at leading institutions including GEM Hospital (Coimbatore & Thrissur) and KIMS Thiruvananthapuram.
