The Heart Failure & Advanced Cardiac Care program at Ananthapuri Hospitals provides comprehensive evaluation and long-term management for patients with weak heart function. Led by Dr. C. G. Bahuleyan and supported by a multidisciplinary team, our approach integrates medication optimization, device-based therapy, lifestyle planning, and continuous monitoring to stabilize and transform patient outcomes
each patient undergoes detailed assessment including echocardiography, biomarkers, ECG, Holter, and functional capacity tests. Treatment includes guideline-directed medical therapy (ARNI, beta-blockers, MRAs), diuretic optimization, and advanced options such as CRT, ICD, and pacemaker-based resynchronization therapy for selected cases.
Patients with refractory symptoms or advanced heart failure are evaluated for mechanical support, advanced imaging, or referral to specialized intervention pathways like TAVI. Our integrated care model ensures seamless coordination between cardiology, nephrology, pulmonology, dietetics, physiotherapy, and internal medicine for holistic optimization.
Patients undergo baseline tests including ECG, Echo, blood work, and functional assessments. They receive individualized medication plans, salt/fluid restriction guidance, and exercise protocols. Regular follow-up visits—including device checks (if applicable), medication adjustments, and symptom monitoring—ensure ongoing stability. Lifestyle coaching, diet counseling, and self-care training form an essential part of the recovery pathway.
