Ananthapuri college of Nursing is a division of Ananthapuri Hospitals and Research Institute, Trivandrum. Considering the increasing demand for trained human resources in the area of allied medical services, Ananthapuri Hospitals and Research Institute has decided to start various job oriented courses at Graduate and Post Graduate level.
This self financing institution in private sector imparts education and training to professionals in the area of allied medical services. The college is approved by the Govt of Kerala as per G.O (MS) 412/2009/H & FWD dtd 28.11.2009 of Health & Family Welfare Department and recognized by the Director of Medical Education, Kerala and the Paramedical Council of Kerala. Candidate who seeks admission to these courses shall have completed 17 years of age and the upper age limit shall be 30 years and shall have passed Plus Two/HSE or PDC examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as optional subjects with an aggregate of 40% marks in optional subjects. The Institution shall earmark 50% of seats for each course towards Govt. quota to be filled by candidates allotted by Director of Medical Education and the remaining 50% seats shall be filled up by the management from eligible candidates on merit.
The results of the 1st batch students came out with excellent scores. It shows 100% pass especially among DOTT and DDT students. All students of DOTT course successfully passed their examination. Two students secured Distinction and one student secured first class. Cent percent pass ensured the Dialysis Technology students. In the case of DNT students, their pass percent is 75 with one Distinction and one first class. The DMLT students secured 70% pass with one First Class. The DCVT students secured 100% pass with one distinction (1st rank in state level) two first class and one second class.
