DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHIATRY & COUNCILING SERVICES

The Department of Psychiatry and behavioural sciences provides expert care to adults, teenagers and children who have mental and emotional disorders including psychological and pharmacological management. Our specialists treat all types of disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, addiction and chronic pain, as well as some of the rarest and most challenging conditions. Department offers comprehensive evaluations to assess psychological and physical concerns.

Our Department is fully equipped to do various psychological assessments relating to children and adults including Comprehensive Neuropsychological Assessment. Apart from the assessment and psychological management of Intellectual Disability, Developmental Disorders, Emotional and Behavioural Problems in children and adolescents, the clinical psychologists have extensive experience in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Inter-Personal Therapy (IPT), Family Therapy and Marital Therapy. We also lend support to people who lead a normal and well-adjusted life but are witnessing problems in other walks of life.

Psychology Department provides various psychological assessments, counseling and management of children and adults with various behavioral and emotional issues. Psychological support for parents of gifted children, Behavioral and emotional issues, Stress, Anxiety and Anger management, Menopause mental health issues, Remedial sessions for learning issues, study skills, premarital and marital counseling.
