Nutrition is essential for good health and growth. Better nutrition is linked to better newborn,
child, and mother health, a stronger immune system, a safer pregnancy and birth, a lower risk of
lifestyle diseases, and longer life. In the treatment of a number of health disorders, proper
nutrition is also an important aspect of therapeutic and preventive health care management. A
well-balanced diet satisfies all of a person's nutritional needs, boosting immunity and lowering
the risk of disease.
The AHRI's Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics section is responsible for enhancing patients'
nutrition, health, and well-being in order to improve their clinical management. Patients receive
evidence-based medical nutrition therapy from a team of highly skilled dieticians.
