Dept of Paediatrics is a one-of-its-kind dedicated facility for comprehensive care and management of health problems in children and adolescents. Committed to the cause of providing safe and high quality medical care with compassion, the team of internationally and nationally trained Paediatricians, Neonatologists, Paediatric Intensive Care Doctors and Paediatric/ Neonatal Nurses here work 24/7, adhering to evidence-based treatment guidelines with a multi-disciplinary approach. The department has state-of-the-art diagnostic, investigation and treatment facilities. It also offers advanced Critical Care with a dedicated Level 3 PICU, where children who require intensive care monitoring including medically unstable patients who require mechanical ventilation and single or multi-organ support are treated. The PICU also offers post-operative care for surgical procedures, emergencies and planned admissions. Manned by PALS certified Paediatric/ Neonatal Critical Care experts and support staff round the clock and supervised closely by the Infection Control Department to prevent any possibilities of cross-infection, the PICU follow internationally approved treatment protocols. AHRI also provides an independent transport and retrieval team capable of stabilising and transferring critically ill children to the hospital with the help of Intensive Care Ambulance. With increased prevalence of chronic condition such as diabetes, asthma, developmental disorders, childhood obesity , childhood kidney disorders and kidney failure,there is increasing need for paediatric super specialities which we offer. DEPARTMENT OF NEONATOLOGY

Neonatology department at Ananthapuri Hospitals is designed in a child friendly manner, committed to newborn care. Our team of qualified neonatologists, round-the-clock intensivists and specially trained (PALS) nurses provide comprehensive care for critically ill newborns, both term and premature infants. Our department is also equipped with emergency medical transport services and critical care response team supported by paediatric intensivists for babies delivered outside and referred to our hospital. Our mobile ICU is fully equipped with portable warmers, Infusion/syringe pumps and transport ventilators.
We ensure continuity of care from the clinical course as a newborn in the NICU through infancy and into early childhood.

The ultra modern Level III NICU is fully equipped with cutting edge facilities to provide intensive care for extremely premature and very low birth weight babies.

DEPARTMENT OF PAEDIATRIC SURGERY

Department of Paediatric Surgery provides world-class, family-centred services for the diagnosis and treatment of children from newborn to teenage such as years of age. Which include congenital malformations, childhood illness and other injuries. Surgeries are carried out by paediatric surgeons along with other surgeons who specialise in paediatric cases such as Orthopaedic, General, ENT, Urology, Oral and ophthalmic surgery, etc. Excellent supportive care in the form of a tertiary care NICU- PICU complex is available for sick and critical neonates, with paediatric ventilators and 24*7 anaesthetist backup.
